I finally retired some of my old drugstore makeup and gave my daily regimen a total facelift. As someone who tries to keep their morning routine under 45 minutes (including showering!), having minimal makeup is absolutely key to me getting out of the door on time.

My new makeup regimen starts with Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Power Foundation, which dries fast, so you have to dab keys areas of your face (nose, cheeks, forehead) with product and then quickly rub it in. I love this foundation because it’s veil-like and gives you that no-make makeup look, not to mention, it really keeps my oily-prone skin matte almost all day.

Next, I do light contouring and bronzer on my cheekbones. I used to use a pink blush, but I prefer the naturalness of this new method instead. For contouring, I use MAC Studio Fix Perfecting Stick under the cheekbones, and then blend it in with a duo fibre face brush. Then I take a large powder brush and dust MAC Mineralize Skinfinish around the same area.

To complete my look, I use Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner to create the perfect “classic bar” on my lid. I recently discovered Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick (late to the game, I know), so I’ll add some of that if I want to look extra fancy, otherwise I’ll just put chapstick on.

If I move fast enough, this entire process only takes me about 7 minutes; it’s a science! Almost forget, I use Glossier Boy Brow on da brows (obviously).  👓
